The intern would surface clean folder label and inventory the collection. The intern would also perform cursory condition reporting to identify future conservation treatment needs. The intern would clean the surface of the posters using HEPA vacuum micro attachments operated at low speeds dry sponges and vinyl block erasing granules. Students who have completed preservation coursework and/or who have related background experiences are preferred. | ||

Special Collections maintains several files documenting and identifying significant binding in its rare book and codex manuscript collections and would like information synthesized into an easy-to-use central spreadsheet or database. The intern would be asked to design the layout identify fields of information and enter the data. Additionally the intern would scan the book covers (closed) to enhance the database or spreadsheet. Students who have completed history of the book coursework and/or who have related background experiences are preferred. | ||
