Intern will participate in a cataloging project involving selected pamphlets, reprints, old nursery and garden equipment catalogs, and similar items of historical importance. Project provides exposure to-- and use of-- OCLC and the Sydneyplus ILS. In addition, the internship will allow for participation in any reference, high school intern mentoring, library volunteer guidance, web page development, training, meeting, and preservation and repair opportunities that arise. Brooklyn is as much fun as Manhattan--even better! The Brooklyn Public Library Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park are all nearby. | |
